Seeking a Solutions Architect in support of the Peace Corps, in Washington DC. This is an exciting opportunity on a brand-new contract focused around the enhancement of the Peace Corps' infrastructure, operations, and management, as part of their Enterprise IT Support Services division. The ideal candidate will establish system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large scale information systems, design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements, as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and direction to staff
- Provide expert-level technical subject matter expertise, systems engineering services, and recommended direction of technical road maps
- Engineering tasks which encompass the design, acquisition, installation, configuration, maintenance, operation, and testing
Qualifications
- Experience evaluating and testing GOTS and COTS software and hardware products and solutions, including development and engineering tools
- Experience providing technical reports and presentations as required for recommended testing of products/tools/techniques
- Has formulated clear risk management strategies and engaged appropriate stakeholders for input or approval
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Advanced Degree (Masters) Required
