Reflecting on 2015

It’s hard to believe that today is the last day of 2015. It feels like I was writing my 2015 goals and resolutions just a few days ago. It’s true what they say about time. The older you get, the faster the years go. It’s all relative. When you’re 10, a single year makes up 10% of your existence on this planet. Not so much when you’re 38.

Regardless, this was another banner year for NSS RPO. While we won’t have the final numbers until sometime in January, we’re on pace for 30% growth. This marks our 6th consecutive year of double digit growth and we received recognition from the business community, making the Washington Business Journal’s Top 25 Staffing Agency List in the Spring and being named to the Inc. 5000 in the Fall. In addition, we go on to the Amazon and IBM vendors list. It feels like 2015 is the year we officially arrived.

None of this would have been possible with our incredible team. John Rice has been at my side since 2012 and Mandy Vitto hit her one year mark in November.

This year, we brought on Priya Jindal as our Engagement Manager and John Motley as our Director of Professional Services. Jessica, our incredibly capable COO/CFO moved our HRIS to Zenefits and we’re poised for explosive growth in 2016.

I’m incredibly fortunate to work with such ethical, talented people. We truly enjoy spending time with one another and know we can count on each other, no matter what. When I gave a toast at our holiday party, I talked about the importance of family and how NSS RPO feels like an extended family. These days, not too many companies can say that.

In a time of incredible, almost unbelievable technological innovation, we can never forget our most important assets. Our people. We feel we have some of the best people in the world and can’t wait to see what 2016 brings.
